Prints from Original Paintings
-
Several of my original watercolors are available as a giclee print. The advantages of a print are variety in size, a print on paper or canvas, and a lower cost than an original.
-
The word Giclee (“ghee-clay”) is French for “to spray” and is used for fine art inkjet prints. The image is printed at 1440 dpi using 6 specialized pigmented inks that will not fade or shift color for 100 years. The result is a museum quality print produced on canvas or watercolor paper. The canvas is acid-free artist canvas, 17 mil, and is designed especially for Giclee prints. The paper is 100% cotton, acid-free, 310gsm watercolor paper.
-
The ability to enlarge or reduce the original size and to print on canvas or watercolor paper results in more choices for the collector. Certificates of authenticity are included with each limited edition print.

Other prints are available at the Carriage House Gallery.
